BECK

Synopsis:

Tells the story of Yukio Tanaka also known as Koyuki and a highschool student, who by chance save a dog named Beck and came to know the owner Ryusuke Minami, an aspirant Rock star, which then led to them being good friends.

He was then invited to one of Ryusuke’s last performance with his band which instantly inspired him to know more about music and made him want to play the guitar. On the other hand, Ryusuke, having a dream of becoming a rockstar, formed a new band called BECK, which then later was joined by Koyuki under certain circumstances. Thus, the start of the struggle of band and their never ending pursuit for their dream.







Impression:

At first I thought this was going to be one of those boring, dramatic high school life and a struggle of a 14 year old boy thru life. But I was half right, it was certainly was story about a student but definitely this was not boring. With all the unique music going on and their exciting pursuit for their goal, this one is certainly worthy to watch. Although I would say that the artwork wasn't that great and some of the background for the scenes was repeated, the story is still interesting and inspiring moreover for those who loves music.

This anime is a mix of Drama, Romance and Music which will definitely keep you inspire until the last episode.
